The certification of RCM (Regulatory Compliance Mark) has been managed by the ERAC (Electrical Regulator Authorities Council) and is valid in Australia and New Zealand. | |

The certification of PSE is the certification enforced in accordance with the Electrical Appliances & Material Safety Act of Japan for which the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has been designated as a competent agency. The PSE mark system for the safety certification of electric appliances in Japan is the certification system in accordance with the DENAN Law that is a new type of law through the revision (2001.04.01) of Dentori Mark (T-Mark) the Electrical Appliances Control Act which has been applied to electric appliances in Japan. A person who manufactures or imports to sell electrical appliances for the purpose of the exportation to Japan should comply with the technology standard for corresponding product. He should acquire the certification of PSE according to the certain requirement for corresponding product. | |

CE is the French abbreviation of Commuant’ Européen which means EU. The certification of CE is the certification system which has been recognized as the general standard of EU. CE mark of EU member countries guarantees the safety of the product in manufacturing and distribution at EU markets. On the product in relation to the health, safety and environment of consumers sold in EU, CE mark should be attached out of obligation. CE mark checks if various products meet the safety standard of EU from children toys to construction equipment. The certification of CE has been applied to 28 EU countries. Among those countries, it is mandatory to acquire for the exportation to the markets in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Sweden, and Finland. | |

FCC (Federal Communication Commission) in the US is a US government agency established in 1934 in accordance with the Communication Acts. The FCC has developed the policies in relation to domestic and overseas wireless communication, TV, satellite, cable, and wire communication to impose the restriction. The FCC has supervised the communication of private sector and imposed the restriction to prevent the public communication from the interference of unnecessary radio wave radiated from electric and electronic appliances. The major function of FCC is to use the frequency band from 10KHz to 3,000GHz effectually. Such restriction has been implemented in accordance with the Federal Communication Act. In violation of the law, a strong sanction shall be imposed on the overall distribution of import, sales, exhibition and advertisement of the product. It is impossible to clear the customs for the product entering the US if the certification of FCC for the product has not been acquired, so that the certification of FCC is mandatory. | |

The Normas Oficiales Mexicanas (NOM) system of Mexico is the system which has regulated certain conditions of dimension, the conditions of safety, the conditions of labeling, the method to test the quality, and the method for the packing of products which may do harm on the safety in order to prevent the environment and public health and the physical safety of consumers from the infringement due to the defects in view of the quality and safety of the product. It is the official system of enforced inspection in Mexico to enable the distribution of the product which only meets the corresponding conditions. If the product corresponds to the NOM item of enforced certification, it is mandatory to acquire the certification of NOM for the possible customs clearance and sales in Mexico. |
